Fitness 19 is actively pursuing new locations in existing markets and other select areas throughout the country. Rainier Commercial Real Estate Services works directly with Fitness 19 for the evaluation, selection, and negotiation of all potential new locations.
In general, Fitness 19 looks for neighborhood oriented locations in established, upper end areas. Their ideal size is 7,000 square feet, but they will consider sites from 6,000 to 10,000 square feet. Unlike most fitness/gym facilities, the clubs are simple, open and bright. They have a non-invasive buildout with no "water elements" such as pools or showers. Fitness 19 also operates well in a shopping center environment by drawing an average of 3,000 trips a week (which are predominantly women) with a parking turnover of approximately 30-40 minutes.
